⚜️It is with heavy hearts that we share the sudden passing of our beloved Scout leader and friend, Johnny Johnson.

Johnny was so much more than a Scout Dad and leader. He was a familiar, friendly face at Scouting events, always willing to lend a hand wherever he was needed. While he's most recently known as the Medic at Camp Old Indian for various scouting events, Johnny gave his time, his talents, and his heart to Scouting and the young people we serve.

And if there was laughter nearby, you could almost guarantee Johnny was right in the middle of it! His humor, his warm spirit, and his ability to make people feel welcome brought so much joy to those around him. He had a way of turning ordinary moments into memories and making those around him feel like old friends.

Johnny was a dedicated Scout Dad, a committed leader, and a friend who could always be counted on. His impact on our Scouting family reaches far beyond the events he attended or the roles he filled. It lives on in the Scouts he cared for, the leaders he supported, and the countless people whose lives he touched along the way.

Our Scouting family will not be the same without him. While words cannot fully express the sadness we feel, we are incredibly grateful for the time we shared with Johnny and the memories we will carry with us.

Please keep Johnny’s family, friends, and everyone who loved him in your thoughts and prayers during this incredibly difficult time.

The 30th Annual Gobbler Grab Food Drive is almost here, and we're asking all scouters, families, friends, and supporters to help make this milestone year our most successful yet.

Since 1997, thanks to the generosity of our community, we have collected 16,818 turkeys to help ensure families in need can enjoy a holiday meal. This year, our goal remains the same: no family should go without a holiday meal.

• Thursday, November 12, 7:00 PM - 8:30 PM
• Saturday, November 14, 10:00 AM - 1:00 PM
