๐ŸฆŒ **GROWING OUR LEGACY โ€” 2026 SC 4-H Wildlife Food Plot Project**
**Registration deadline extended to August 21st**

Deer season's coming, and there's still time to get your family signed up to grow a food plot the right way โ€” with a plan, the right seed, and a little know-how behind it.

This year's project is built around three things: improving wildlife habitat, supporting local wildlife populations, and putting our kids in the driver's seat as the next generation of wildlife stewards.

We're kicking off the season on **Saturday, August 29th** at the **Interlaken Wildlife Center in Camden**. Come out for seed and materials distribution, door prizes, and hands-on stations covering camera trap setup, pelts/skulls/tracks, and exclusion fencing โ€” plus a trailer tour of established food plots so you can see what a well-managed plot actually looks like before you put seed in the ground.

A big thanks to **Southland Wildlife Seed**, a division of Mixon Seed, and the **South Carolina Department of Natural Resources (SCDNR)** for sponsoring this year's project. They are helping our kids get quality seed in the ground, and this yearโ€™s project winners will receive lifetime hunting & fishing licenses!

๐Ÿ“… Registration deadline: **August 21, 2026**
๐Ÿ“ Kickoff: **August 29, 2026 โ€” Interlaken Wildlife Center, Camden, SC**

Plant today. Support tomorrow. Get your family registered.
