Last night, these two state medalists were presented with their award for Academic Honors. Being an athlete is tough, but being an athlete that holds themselves to a high academic standard, and achieves those goals speaks volumes. Congratulations Bryce Clarke and Samuel Tomcany for obtaining academic excellence.

MHS Crew and Mobjack Rowing would love to give a huge 🎉congratulations🎉 to Taylor Lee Williams Ullom on her induction into the MHS Athletics Hall of Fame!

While her rowing resume is impressive between our program and her time rowing D1 at George Mason, she has grown into an all around impressive human being in her adult life. She joined the Arlington County Police Department in 2018 and is currently a Master Police Officer on the force. Public service is an incredibly selfless profession and we couldn't be more proud of her path in life and her accomplishments. Congrats Taylor. We are proud of you!

The Mathews High School varsity crew traveled to Sandy Run Regional Park in Occoquan,Virginia to compete in the 2026 Virginia Scholastic Rowing Association’s state championshipregatta. It's been a busy spring racing, but we made time for a fantastic Open House as well as equally important boat clean up days! Gotta keep the fleet looking nice and operational! We love how our team chips in and gives their all to anything we throw their way!

Our last Senior Sendoff is for our Gloucester High School Senior, Zach Hudson.

Zach came to Mobjack this year and brought humor, a helpful hand, and a bit of happiness to our team. You can hear is laughter around the wharf all the time and it lightens your spirits.

We wish Zach luck as he attends the Virginia Military Institute in the Fall. With his drive and determination, we know he will do Mobjack proud!

We have two seniors who will be graduating and leaving us this year. We're going to start out our first "Senior Sendoff "with Bryce Clarke.

Bryce is the rower everyone wants in their life. He is chill when things get crazy, he is beyond giving, and has a way of making you laugh that is completely unique to his personality. If your team doesn't have a Bryce Clarke kinda soul, you have really missed out on something amazing.

We're going to miss you Bryce, but we are excited for your future at Randolph-Macon. You are one of those rowers who will be in our hearts long after you leave.
