Today, Engine 11 sits at Faulkner Funeral Home draped in black in memory of John Wesley Wroten Jr.

The black mourning bunting is a symbol of respect and remembrance for a fellow firefighter who dedicated many years of service to the Mathews Volunteer Fire Department and our community.

As John is laid to rest today, we proudly honor his service, his memory, and the legacy he leaves behind.

Rest easy, John. Your service will never be forgotten.
