We as a board would like to bring a potential situation to all of our members attention.
The vice president of pleasure position will be opening up this year. In the past this has been a hard position to fill. If it goes unfilled for the 2027 season pleasure will be on a pause until it can be filled. To put it directly if no one takes the position there will no pleasure shows for the 2027 season.
This position is in charge an responsible for running equipment to prep the arena before, during and after the show.
Making the showbill, contacting and booking judges, arranging food for a food booth, keeping track of points and volunteer hours, picking year-end awards, ordering them and banquet set up for pleasure. Day of show responsible are : office, announcing, food, and arena including watering and dragging.
It is a big responsible and a lot of work we won't suger coat it. However it is rewarding and fun in it's own way. If you have questions feel free to message us.
