Dear Jr. Bulldog Families,
Jr. Bulldog Night is this Thursday, 9/3, at the Varsity Football Game! We are excited to have our Jr. Bulldogs join us to cheer on the Varsity team!
A few important details for the evening:
🏈Kids are encouraged to wear their Game Jerseys to school and to the game.
🏈Game starts at 7:00 p.m.
🏈$5 entrance fee for everyone. We will post a link to buy your tickets in advance.
🏈Players will sit with their coaches and team in a designated area (see photo below). This is the area all the way to the far end of the Home bleachers, closest to the scoreboard.
🏈With 5 minutes left in the second quarter, players should gather with their teams at the end of the field, near the scoreboard.
🏈At halftime, players' names will be announced as they run across the field.
🏈After they run the field, parents will need to pick their players up at the other end. Parents can take them home or they can watch the game with their parents.
🏈Players are not to be playing or throwing footballs behind the bleachers.
Jr. Bulldog Expectations:
We know that kids are kids, and we want them to have fun! At the same time, we want to make sure everyone stays safe and that all fans are able to enjoy the game.
Students are welcome to be behind the bleachers, but we ask that they follow these expectations:
📣Walk behind the bleachers—no running.
📣Do not throw objects of any kind, including footballs, water bottles, or other items.
📣Repeating again – no footballs! Do not bring them to the game.
📣Keep hands to yourself. No tackling, wrestling, or roughhousing of any kind.
📣Do not climb fences, trees, or other structures.
📣Be respectful of others and follow the directions of school staff, coaches, and event supervisors.
📣Stay in designated areas and do not enter restricted areas or onto the field.
We also want to remind our players that when they put on their jersey, they are representing their team and the Mason Jr. Bulldog Football Club. Any player who is not respecting the jersey or the expectations above may be asked to remove their jersey and will answer to their Coach.
We appreciate your help in talking with your player about these expectations before the game. Our goal is for everyone to have a great time while also making sure Jr. Bulldog Night is safe, positive, and enjoyable for all. There will be school officials and Jr. Bulldog Members helping to monitor behind the bleachers. Please remind your player to respect the adults and all attendees present.
