A shout-out to our banking partner, Rockland Trust. One of our member's adorable dog got hold of a $20 bill. Our member went to her regular bank who would not do anything to help her. So she went to Rockland Trust where the young man told her, "no worries." He then put the bill back together and exchanged it for another one. Thank You Rockland Trust!!!

The Mashpee Women's Club annual golf outing was held on Tuesday, June 2nd at Holly Ridge Golf Club. The weather was picture perfect and to course was in excellent shape. A good time was had by all.

Many thanks to Cindy Collins for organizing this event. Her helpers, Deb Longchampe and JoAnne Del Greco, raffle and mulligan sales, Maureen Trudnak, registration.

After golf we were served a delicious lunch.

The Mashpee Women's Club would like to express their appreciation to all our wonderfully generous members who participated in A Baby Center's blanket and layette drive honoring Mother's Day at our May luncheon. The photos below depict the depth of your generosity, beautifully hand-made blankets and sweaters, all sorts of layette items, blankets and a very generous amount of cash donations of $500+.

Thank you to Terry Cordo and Mary Liz McCahill for gathering and bringing all the items to Nicole Voci, Program Manager, A Baby Center, Cape Cod Council of Churches.

A special shout out to Mary Paone for the beautifully hand-knit sweaters and matching hats.

The Mashpee Women's Club May luncheon was held Tuesday, May 19 at the Poppy Tent. The members enjoyed the most gorgeous view while enjoying a delicious Taco Buffet. We also had the pleasure of watching Vanessa Beniot of The Chocolate Rose/Cake Artistry & Fine Pastries in Mashpee demonstrate how she creates a beautiful strawberry filled cake.

The month of May brings us Mother's Day and the Mashpee Women's Club celebrates by donating baby blankets, layettes and the sweetest hand knit sweaters and blankets made with love by our members.

The Getting to Know you speaker was Frank Fantasia of Christ the King/ Mashpee Food Pantry.

Upcoming events include the June Fashion Show benefitting our Scholarship Fund. A demonstration in July by artist Forrest Pirovano and in August, Sheryl Faye will present Ruth Bader Ginsberg.

The Mashpee Women's Club April luncheon was held on Tuesday, April 21st at The Club at New Seabury. This month's program featured Mark Robinson of the Compact of Cape Cod Conservation Trusts. Mark explained what the Compact is and what it does for conserving land space on Cape Cod.

This month's Getting to Know You speaker was Robin Hayward, Program Director of A Baby Center, Hyannis. Robin gave us an update on ABC and their new location in Hyannis. Having Robin talk this month was timed perfectly since next month's luncheon is dedicated to honoring Mother's Day by donating items to ABC. We normally ask for blankets and blankets are always welcome, but Robin explained that there is a great need for layette items, such as receiving blankets, swaddles, wash cloths, baby towels, socks, newborn or 0-3 month onesie's, infant nightgowns or PJs, pacifiers, baby bottles, bottle brushes, etc. Anything a new mother would need to care for her newborn baby.

The May Luncheon also features The Chocolate Rose bakery in Mashpee. We are going to have a cake decorating demonstration and an opportunity to taste her delicious cakes. Don't forget that the May luncheon is on Tuesday, May 19th in the POPPY TENT!!

June will feature our biggest fund raiser of the year to suppo9rt our Scholarship Fun with our annual Fashion Show and Basket Raffle. This year this event will be on a Thursday to avoid conflicting with another event at New Seabury. Save the Date: THURSDAY, June 18th.

We cannot have a meeting without thanking the many members who volunteer to be on our Board of Directors or Chair/Co-Chair a Committee. We would not be able to do the monthly programs without their dedicated hard work. Thank you to the following members:
