Why Green Star? ️
The Green Star was never chosen randomly.

Green is nationally recognized as the color for mental health awareness. National mental health organizations, awareness campaigns, and advocacy efforts across the country use green to represent mental health support, healing, hope, su***de awareness, and the fight to end stigma.

That is why Green was chosen. The Green Star Service Banner was intentionally created to honor families of Veterans lost to su***de, families carrying a loss often connected to the invisible wounds of war and mental health struggles.

The Green Star represents:
💚 Recognition for families too often left unseen

The meaning behind the Green Star was created with purpose from the very beginning. No family should feel invisible.

⚠️ Due to inclement weather, today’s Memorial Day Ceremony has been moved indoors.

The ceremony will now be held at the American Legion Post 382 located at 1850 Luneta St., Navarre, FL at 11:00 AM.

Lunch will be provided beginning at 12:00 PM at both:
