Brooks & Family Equine Retirement This is horse Hospice, so it's the last home your horse will have. Your horse will also have a purpose. We are a tax-exempt nonprofit community.

At Brooks & Family Equine Retirement we provide a slice of horse heaven for your equine family member's golden years: 40+ acres of rolling green hills to share with a select group of up to 10 horses. Your horse will get excellent care, but without life-extending measures that leave her suffering. Horses at BFER must be gentle and well-behaved because they will provide touch therapy for humans in n

eed, including older adults and traumatized Veterans. Loved ones can visit their horses or human families in this peaceful outdoor environment, rather than in stuffy barns/nursing homes.
