This past weekend, HTEI had the honor of showing up as a sponsor for two powerful celebrations of community, history, and belonging: Juneteenth with Cherry Hill African American Civic Association and the inaugural Salem County PrideFest with Salem County Pride+

Juneteenth reminds us that freedom, equity, and justice are not moments in history, they are ongoing commitments. We were proud to support Cherry Hill African American Civic Association Juneteenth celebration again as a Platinum Sponsor and to recognize local youth changemakers through awarding Good Trouble Service Leadership Awards, honoring individuals who continue to advance equity, opportunity, and community care through their actions.

We also proudly stood alongside our neighbors at Salem County PrideFest as sponsors of South Jersey’s first-ever PrideFest.

Thank you to our volunteers who continue to show up and allow us to be part of these historic moments. These events and the safe spaces they create for so many are powerful reminders of why this work matters.

Advancing equity isn’t the work of one organization or one town, it happens when communities come together, share resources, amplify one another’s efforts, and work toward a future where everyone feels seen, heard, respected, and celebrated.

We’re grateful for the organizers Collingswood Pride Committee , volunteers, fellow sponsors, and advocates who make Collingswood Pride possible. By partnering across municipal lines, we strengthen support for LGBTQIA+ individuals and families throughout our region and move the needle forward together.

One week ago today, we were gearing up for Day 2 of HT Pride 2026 and we’re still carrying that joy with us.

After a beautiful 6th Annual HT Pride Parade, proudly sponsored by Cooper University Health Care , thousands of community members lined the streets to celebrate, support, and stand alongside the LGBTQIA+ community. The next day, that energy continued as we welcomed 30 incredible organizations to HT Pride & Progress, sponsored by The JFKLiving Team • NJ Realtors connecting families with resources, community, and opportunities for engagement.

The day was filled with laughter, learning, and celebration ranging from Quizzo hosted by Iris Spectre/Dylan Kepp to an unforgettable Drag Lip Sync Battle presented by Drag Queen Entertainment LLC.

We continue to be overwhelmed by the love, support, and commitment to inclusion that this community shows year after year. Pride may have a designated month, but the work, and the joy, continue.

You’ll find us tomorrow at Collingswood Pride Committee Collingswood Pride and next weekend at Salem County Pride+ South Jersey Pride on June 20. We are honored to support our neighboring Pride celebrations as sponsors and community partners. If you’re attending, be sure to stop by our booth and say hello!

When the Audubon Board of Education signaled its intention to transfer Junior-Senior High School Principal Jeff Lebb within the district, students organized, marched, and packed the school board meeting in opposition. By the end of the night, they had won over a majority of the body.
