Sometimes, what they need most is not advice or solutions, they need adults who are willing to listen, understand, and validate their experiences. Research shows that when youth feel heard and supported without judgment, they are more likely to build trust, seek help when needed, and develop healthy coping skills.

At NJ4S Burlington County, we encourage adults to listen with curiosity, not assumptions. Before offering opinions, ask questions, create space for honest conversations, and let young people know their voices matter. When youth feel heard, they feel empowered.

Looking for a creative way to practice self-care this summer? Join NJ4S Burlington County and the Generations Family Success Center for our Self-Care Corner Crafting Hour Summer Series!

Participants will enjoy fun, hands-on crafts while learning healthy coping skills, building connections, and taking time to focus on their well-being. Come create, relax, and make self-care a priority this summer!
