We are really proud of all of our players BUT sometimes some deserve a special shout out. I am so proud of our U12 soccer team. Give or take we have had about the same group of kids on this team for the last 3 seasons, for several it’s their last season. Almost every game they have played they have been short players.. they make do because they love soccer and just want to be there. We see nearly every other team with a whole new line up every 10 minutes or so to give those on the field a break. Ours are expected to give all they have for all 60 minutes.
Today they won their FIRST game!!! 8-2. They listened to direction. Asked questions. Stayed respectful. Had a competitive attitude while also having good sportsmanship. What more can you ask for?? So proud of these kids for keeping their head up and continuing to show up. Hard work pays off and I think they saw that in action today. Every game may not be a win but as long as you learn and strive to be a hard worker then you will be better for it.
Today’s player of the game was Sam. Sam Morries is one of those kiddos that is playing his last season with us this year. He plays fearlessly and always gives 100%. He is a kind teammate and always keeps a good attitude. He scored 5 goals today!!!! Way to go Sam we are proud of you and your teammates always!! 💙⚽️🚀

Lady Rocket Soccer camp update:

••Soccer Camp starts Today! 9-11:30 AM ⚽️💙🚀
We are monitoring the weather for this morning. (The radar shows a small possible storm around 9 AM start time.) If you arrive and it’s storming, we will delay a few minutes then get started. We will have adults ready to help if you’re on a time crunch and need to be somewhere. If not, feel free to wait it out a few minutes with us if necessary. We do not want to cancel and rearrange schedules for everyone. Fingers crossed!!

As some of you may already know, the age group range is changing starting this fall season. This was decided by the Kentucky youth soccer association. We have had several parents ask if their child was moving up next season so I thought we could go ahead and have it posted. Thank you for your understanding!
