This is something we’ve been hesitant to say out loud, but the reality is that we cannot continue helping families and pets without consistent donations coming in.

Right now, most donations only come in when we post an urgent fundraiser. But many emergencies do not give us time to fundraise first. Some situations require immediate decisions, immediate vet care, or immediate supplies.

Every week, we receive multiple requests for:
• emergency medical care
• pet food assistance
• urgent situations where families are trying desperately to keep their pets

And sometimes, we have to say no simply because there is no funding available at that moment.

Events help us spread awareness, connect with the community, and grow support for our mission, but events also cost money to organize and run. Exposure alone does not pay veterinary bills or keep our programs operating.

What truly helps nonprofits like ours survive is recurring monthly support.

Even small monthly donations make a difference:
• $5/month helps provide pet food assistance
• $10/month helps cover microchips
• $25/month helps build emergency medical funds over time

When multiple people give consistently, it allows us to say “yes” more often without scrambling to fundraise during every emergency.

Right now, we currently only have one recurring monthly donor.

If you believe in keeping pets with the families who love them, please consider becoming a monthly supporter of The Infinity Project. Stable support creates real impact for pets in our community.

Thank you to everyone who continues to share, donate, volunteer, attend events, and believe in our mission. We truly could not do this without you.

Thank you to everyone who came out to support The Infinity Project at our Run Like An Animal 5K today. Whether you ran, walked, volunteered, sponsored, donated, shared our posts, or simply showed up to cheer everyone on, we appreciate you more than you know.

Seeing the community come together for pets and families in need means the world to us. Every registration, donation, and show of support helps us continue our mission of keeping pets home for infinity.

We’re so grateful for every single person who helped make today possible. Thank you for supporting our nonprofit, our mission, and the animals who depend on it.

❤️ UPDATE ON GIZMO ❤️

First, we want to sincerely thank everyone who donated, shared, and reached out with support for Gizmo. Because of your kindness, Gizmo was able to be seen by a veterinarian and begin receiving treatment.

At this time, the veterinarian believes Gizmo could possibly have bobcat fever or mycoplasma, especially since his sibling recently passed away after experiencing very similar symptoms. Gizmo was sent home with antibiotics and fluids to help keep him hydrated while they continue monitoring his condition.

Right now, we are taking things day by day and hoping the medications help him begin feeling better soon.

Please continue keeping Gizmo and his family in your thoughts.

🚨 URGENT HELP NEEDED 🚨

Gizmo is a 9 year old Maine C**n mix who urgently needs to see a veterinarian tomorrow morning.

He is currently lethargic, dehydrated, refusing to eat, and very wobbly. What makes this situation even more concerning is that his sibling passed away just two days ago after experiencing the same symptoms, including severe jaundice.

Right now, our immediate goal is to help cover the cost of Gizmos emergency exam, diagnostic testing, and any initial medications the veterinarian may provide so we can get answers and begin treatment as quickly as possible.

At this time, we do not yet have an official estimate from the veterinarian, so our current $200 goal is simply an estimate for tomorrow’s urgent visit and initial care. Depending on Gizmo’s diagnosis and treatment plan, additional fundraising may be needed afterward.

🎯 Current Goal: $200

Every donation, no matter the amount, helps move Gizmo closer to getting the urgent care he needs.

This is Dexter.

His owner reached out after noticing he was peeing blood and then dripping blood after going outside. As you can imagine, she was terrified.

Dexter was seen by a vet, and while he tested negative for a UTI, there was still blood present. They believe it may be a prostate infection, and he was sent home with antibiotics.

Dexter is only 8 months old and already so loved. Situations like this are exactly why The Infinity Project exists, to help families get answers when something feels wrong.

His vet visit came out to $71.

Unexpected vet bills don’t give you time to prepare. That’s why options like CareCredit can be helpful to look into before an emergency happens.

CareCredit is a healthcare credit card that can be used at many veterinary clinics for things like emergencies, surgeries, medications, and even routine care. Instead of paying everything upfront, it allows you to break the cost into monthly payments, and some providers offer promotional financing options.

The important thing to know is that you have to apply and be approved, which is why it’s a good idea to look into it ahead of time, not when you’re already in a stressful situation trying to figure out how to pay for care.

It’s not the right fit for everyone, but for some families, it can make a huge difference in those unexpected moments.

Having a plan, knowing your options, and being prepared can help keep a hard situation from becoming an impossible one.

It’s easy to look at a situation and think, “They shouldn’t have a pet” or “They should’ve planned better.”

But what if we responded differently?

What if instead of judgment, we led with support. Instead of criticism, we asked how we could help. Instead of assuming the worst, we chose to believe that people are trying their best.

Because behind almost every situation is someone who loves their pet and doesn’t want to lose them.

And sometimes, a little support is all it takes to keep them together.

It’s usually not what you think.

It’s not that they don’t care.
It’s not that they don’t love them.

It sounds like this:

• “I’ll just find them a better home”
• “They deserve more than I can give right now”
• “I just want them to have a good life”
• “I don’t have another choice”

These aren’t careless decisions.
They’re heartbreaking ones.

Because the truth is…
most people don’t want to give up their pet.
They just don’t see another way.

And that’s exactly why The Infinity Project exists.

We step in during those moments,
when someone feels like they’re out of options,
and show them that they’re not.

Whether it’s help with food, emergency vet care, or resources,
our goal is simple:

Keep pets home for infinity.
