One of the hidden benefits of being a Marion Area Chamber member is the incredible support from fellow members and local businesses.
When Marion Matters had a tree limb come down unexpectedly, Redwood Tree Experts stopped by, lent a hand, and quickly cleaned it up for us. Acts like this remind us what community partnership is all about.

Come out to our Staying Ahead class this Wednesday!

Staying Ahead, our program for continuous resource building, is being held Wednesday, April May 27th at 1PM. Our Program Director, Michelle Ryman-Lillie, will be presenting about building Social Capital.

Many of us depend on our support systems-- friends, family, and other backup resources-- to navigate times in our lives where we're struggling. What happens, though, if someone doesn't have that to fall back on?

We are going to discuss how to build our support networks and the positive impacts that building up this resource can have on our lives.
