☆Hello, and welcome to my page dedicated to raising awareness about sexual abuse and raising money to help sexual abuse victims. I am currently working on a fundraising link to post on here as well.

☆☆☆ Here's a little Q&A to get to know more about Justice 4 Sexual Abuse Victims and what led me to creating this page and charity.

● Q: Why did I create this page?
● A: I created this page because sexual abuse is a topic very close to my heart. I was a sexual abuse victim, but now I am a sexual abuse survivor. I want to make a difference, maybe not in the world...but I at least want to make a difference for a few people; one of those people being my younger self. You see, I've been sexually abused on multiple occasions by multiple people throught adolescence and my young adult life. I know on a personal level the ways that being sexually abused can affect someone. Being sexually abused can cause psychological, emotional, and physical effects; some of these effects include: Depression, Flashbacks, PTSD, Self-Harm, Substance Abuse, Dissociation, Panic Attacks, Eating Disorders, Body Dysmorphia, Sleep Disorders, Questioning Gender Identity, Questioning Sexuality, Pregnancy (whether wanted or unwanted), Sexually Transmitted Infections, and Su***de. Having gone through the situation myself, I understand what it's like to be a Victim and feel as if there's no hope. I NEVER want anyone to feel like that if I can help it...so I'm going to do my best to try.

● Q: What's your sexual abuse story?
● A: I have been SA'd on multiple occasions by multiple people throughout my life ranging from adolescence to adulthood. Some of the people I've been SA'd by were family, people I considered my best friends (friends for 10+ years), and boyfriends or ex-boyfriends. Some of the effects I deal with due to being SA'd are: Depression, PTSD, Flashbacks, Sleep Paralysis, Nightmares, Sleep Problems, Panic Attacks, Body Dysmorphia, Binge Eating Disorder, and I'm now labeled as Suicidal.

● Q: In your opinion, what's the difference between being a victim and being a survivor?
● A: Honestly, the difference is what you do about it. If you do nothing and just sit around and sulk about it, play the victim card, and just dwell on the abuse you went through...well, then you're a Victim. If you do something to change it such as starting a charity for others, donating to a group specific charity, organize or attend specialized charity events, sharing your own story to raise awareness, or simply not dwelling on the abuse you went through; well...that makes you a Survivor.

● Q: What are you hoping to achieve with this page and charity?
● A: I am hoping to not only raise awareness about SA and its effects, but to also raise money to gift to some SA victims that don't have the funding they need to seek out help. I want to make sure that all SA victims get justice, and one of the reasons a lot of SA victims don't get that is due to the costs. Hospital or Doctor bills for running R**e Kits, Court and/or Lawyer Fees if their presence is required to testify, Divorces for SA'd victims or their parent(s), Food and Housing Costs on a single income, Treatment Options for the SA'd and/or their families, or even that they can't afford to take a day off work to go to court. Oh, and a lot of SA'd people are too scared to tell anyone what has happened to them. Some are threatened and told things like "If you ever tell anyone, I'll kill you." or "Even if you tell, why would anyone believe you? It's your word against mine." (Most commonly used by an adult [18+], to a minor [-18] or by someone who is popular to someone who isn't.) I want all SA victims to be safe enough and confident enough to tell their stories and get the justice they deserve.
