Taste of Time: Experience Marion's Culinary History One Bite at a Time!

Step back through the decades and discover the flavors that helped shape Downtown Marion.

Taste of Time is a family-friendly culinary experience that combines local history, classic recipes, live cooking demonstrations, and agricultural heritage into one unforgettable community event.

Guests will sample beloved dishes from Marion restaurants and family kitchens while enjoying interactive exhibits, antique farm equipment displays, vintage tractors, and activities for all ages. Cookbooks featuring many of the featured recipes will also be available for purchase.

More than just a food event, Taste of Time celebrates Marion's rich culinary traditions and agricultural roots while bringing together residents, visitors, local restaurants, and community organizations. From historic recipes like George Kasotis' Pasta Salad, Mike Nicolosi's Spicy Cole Slaw, and Florence Harding's Waffles to antique machinery displays and a petting zoo, there's something for every generation to enjoy.
