Washington County Homeless Project Washington County Homeless Project is a project in Southeastern Ohio to help alleviate homelessness Hours are Monday through Saturday 12-4pm.

We currently have the Warming Center that provides heat, showers and food for the homeless population in Washington County Ohio. It is located in the parsonage of the First Congregational Church. We additionally have the Laundry Project. For information about this contact either the shelter or RSVP Services at the O" Neil Center.

Did you know......The Drop in Center is a very busy place. We are open 4 hours a day Monday through Friday. We average 40+ clients daily.
The wonderful volunteer cooks and servers ensure everyone gets a meal. The front desk folks make sure everyone gets a " Go bag." A " Go bag" is a packed lunch to help with nightly needs.
We have numerous agencies we work with. Without their assistance many things couldn't happen. Community services are a blessing.
The staff and volunteers at the Drop in Center assist with obtaining birth certificates, Snap benefits, medical cards ( frequently copies of existing cards), making doctor and counseling appts, finding and obtaining housing.......the list is quite cumbersome.
So we want to take a minute to thank you all for the support you have given us. Your support is what allows us to do what we do. ❤️

We are having a fundraising event! Please come out to Wendy's on Muskingum Drive next Tuesday May 5. Supper for a good cause....The event will be held from 3-7pm. Volunteers will be present to answer any questions. A portion of all sales will be donated to The Washington County Homeless Project. Please join us.... Hope to see you there.
