Art lovers from across the Mid-Ohio Valley will have an opportunity to step inside the creative spaces where local art is made during the inaugural MOV Artist Studio Tour a collaborative event presented by Marietta Main Street and the Parkersburg Art Center tomorrow!

Taking place on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., the self-guided tour will provide visitors with access to working artist studios throughout Washington County and Wood County. The event features at least seven stops and more than ten participating artists, offering a unique look at the diverse creative talent in the Mid-Ohio Valley, according to a press release about the event.

🙌 Meet the Host: Melony Gingery!

Melony Gingery is a self- taught sculptor and dreamer who brings emotion to life through the innovative use of epoxy putty. From her home studio in the rolling hills of West Virginia, her work explores the delicate balance between strength and softness, often centering on themes of feminine energy, resilience, self-healing and the quiet beauty of being.

Her art has earned its place in juried exhibitions such as Tamarack’s Best of West Virginia and ArtFields in South Carolina. Her work is held in private collections across the United States and internationally.

Melony’s creative journey continues to redefine the boundaries of art and its ability to uplift and inspire. Her legacy is one of light, balance, and an unwavering determination to encourage everyone she meets to Dream Always.

🙌 Meet the Host: Bobby Rosenstock of Just A Jar Design Press!

Bobby Rosenstock is the owner of Just A Jar Design Press, a letterpress and design studio in Marietta, Ohio. Bobby was born in Queens, New York and grew up in the suburbs of New Jersey. Bobby has a BAFA in Painting & Printmaking from Alfred University in New York and an MFA in Printmaking & Book Arts from the University of the Arts in Philadelphia. He started JustAJar in his garage in 2009 and has grown the business into a successful letterpress & design studio located in downtown Marietta. They specialize in custom woodcut posters, all meticulously hand carved and manually printed on antique printing presses. JustAJar has created official woodcut posters for Willie Nelson, John Prine, Billy Strings, Jack Daniel's, Soundgarden and many more.

🎉 Cheers to 5 Years of DORA in Downtown Marietta! 🍻

Five years ago, the City of Marietta and Marietta Main Street worked together to launch the Downtown Outdoor Refreshment Area (DORA), creating a new way for residents and visitors to enjoy our historic downtown.

Since then, DORA has become a popular part of the downtown experience—supporting local businesses, encouraging people to explore our shops and restaurants, and adding to the vibrant atmosphere that makes Marietta special.

We're proud of what this partnership has accomplished and grateful to the businesses, community members, and visitors who have embraced DORA over the past five years.
