From Ireland to service dog superstar.

When Brody arrived from Ireland late last year, his future was waiting for him in ways none of us could fully imagine. Maggie adopted Brody with a specific goal: to train him as her service dog and daily partner.

Since then, Maggie has worked tirelessly alongside Brody, completing his Canine Good Citizen certifications and AKC service distinctions with the support of Rainbow Service Dogs. Today, Brody helps Maggie by bracing to assist her up, retrieving items, alerting for angina, and even getting help if she falls.

We are incredibly proud of the dedication Maggie has shown and the success Brody has achieved. This is what partnership, perseverance, and possibility look like.

We always say dogs change lives. Sometimes, they help save them.

UPDATE: We just learned that "LANA WAS FOUND BUT UNFORTUNATELY TOO LATE". We don't have further information. Please keep her family in mind and please protect your dear hounds...

COURTESY POST: This greyhound named LANA escaped her yard last night near Speedway and Pantano in Tucson AZ. She was spotted at Udall Park so she is on the move. THIS SUNDAY, May 17th starting at 7:00am, and every month through the summer: Rattlesnake season is here in Arizona, and avoidance training can be one of the most important investments you make in your dog’s safety.

Our Rattlesnake Avoidance Sessions help teach dogs to recognize and avoid the sight, sound, and scent of rattlesnakes—giving both dogs and their humans added confidence when hiking, walking, or spending time outdoors.

Whether your dog is an adventurous trail partner or simply enjoys the backyard, this training provides valuable real-world protection.

Sessions are limited and fill quickly this time of year. Call (520) 272-1825 to reserve your spot or learn more about upcoming training dates held at Sol Dog Lodge. The sessions are administered by Animal Experts, Inc. the largest provider of Rattlesnake (and Toad) Avoidance Classes in Southern Arizona.
