The boys' Troop 542 invited us to join their campfire and pizza party this evening. It moved indoors because of rain, but a good time was had by all anyway. Here's our Scoutmaster leading the combined group in a song.

Troops 541 and 542 are starting a week of summer camp at Resica Falls in the Poconos.

Seven of our Scouts left for Scouting America's National Jamboree in West Virginia this morning. They'll be there until July 31 enjoying the activities at the Bechtel Summit Reserve, and meeting another 20,000 Scouts from all across the country.

Our car show is here till 3:00 with over 80 cars on display, lots of good food, and Scout demonstrations. Please stop by and support our Scouts.

The Troop 541/542 car show is tomorrow from 10:00 to 3:00. Please come out to see the cars, and enjoy some family fun. Kids can cross the monkey bridge, see some Scouting demonstrations, and you can support us by buying some food and drinks. If you are entering a car, a donation of $20 is requested. If you're just coming to see them, admission is free.

Three of our Scouts received the Pope Pius XII award this morning. They've been working on the requirements for it for about six months. It was presented at the Scout Mass at the Cathedral Basilica of Saints Peter and Paul in Philadelphia by Auxiliary Bishop Michael Fitzgerald.

A small group of our Scouts had a very interesting visit to a logging site today as part of their work on the Forestry Merit Badge.
