Cupola Academy youth and members of Teens for Social Justice are organizing a bake sale to support the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI). The bake sale will take place at the CA end of year celebration on May 31st from 5:30pm-7:30pm, with 50% of proceeds going to NAMI and 50% supporting CA's scholarship fund. Teens for Social Justice members have recently spent time designing postcards to welcome refugees through the Welcoming Refugee Project. The Bezos Family Foundation has pledged to donate $5 per postcard to organizations around the world that support these refugees. It was such an honor to meet Josh Shapiro yesterday at the Abington YMCA Gobble Wobble. Teens for Social Justice worked to turn out the vote through Students for Shapiro and is thrilled to welcome Josh Shapiro as the new governor of Pennsylvania!
