WARNING, MEMBERS!
Sometimes we become the targets of scammers, spammers and bots.
These posts came from multiple accounts, with no one account posting more than once, which makes it difficult for us to flag, block and delete these comments. We are working hard to get rid of and report all of these, but it can be difficult to catch them all, especially as new ones are coming in.
So here are a few reminders:
DO NOT CLICK ON LINKS in the comments of posts unless they are posted by VFW Auxiliary National Headquarters' official page.
DO NOT purchase VFW Auxiliary shirts or other materials from third-party vendors. Best case scenario, you are purchasing from an unauthorized vendor and receive a low-quality product, and worst-case scenario you pay money, never receive the product and your credit card information is compromised. (If you're looking for t-shirts with the VFW Auxiliary logo, you can find what you need at the VFW Store, www.vfwstore.org.)
DO NOT send money to "National" by responding to requests for gift cards. We will not ask for them!
Protect yourself, your peace and your information. If you're ever not sure if something is a scam or spam, send us a DM and ask. We are happy to help.
