Congratulations, Mansfield Public Library on a well deserved honor! And thank you for all that you do for our community!

We are thrilled to announce that our Digital Navigation program is the recipient of the CT State Library’s Excellence in Public Libraries Award in the category of Advancement in Literacy and Education!!!

MPL was one of only four public libraries in Connecticut selected for this honor!

The CT State Library Excellence in Public Libraries Awards are designed to honor and celebrate outstanding public libraries – those that demonstrate excellence in service and innovative programming and have a profound impact on their communities. The Awards aim to highlight the exceptional work of public libraries, encouraging growth and evolution in library services, and acknowledging libraries’ outstanding contributions while inspiring others to strive for excellence in serving their communities.

We hope everyone got through the latest blizzard alright! Our winter book sale this weekend is a great way to stock up on books, games, puzzles, and movies for the next possible weather event 😄 Plus, Twin Beaks Fried Chicken will be there this Sunday!
