Some ways to get students up and moving as we start back to school. Incorporate Tactile & Kinesthetic Learning

Physical Gallery Walks: Post images, primary source documents, dataset charts, or math problems around the room. Students rotate in pairs with clipboards to analyze, annotate, and answer prompts. Write ideas on sticky notes to tab at each rotation station.

Interactive Notebooking & Graphic Organizers: Replace digital slide decks with tactile visual mapping—using foldables, venn diagrams, mind maps, and physical index card sorting for vocabulary and conceptual categorization.

Hands-on Manipulatives: Utilize physical counters, algebra tiles, geometric models, lab stations, and physical map overlays to teach abstract math and science concepts.
