As we hear of the passing of Nancy Kassebaum Baker, we are grateful for the opportunity to have honored her as our 2016 Friend of the Flint Hills.

Her career was marked by many challenges and remarkable successes, but through it all, her love and passion for Kansas and the Flint Hills remained at the heart of everything she did.
