Happy Birthday to the Snow Pioneers Treasurer, Nathan Gudenkauf! He keeps everyone in “check!” Nathan wears many hats besides treasurer, from trail section manager to event coordinator and now trained groomer operator! Thanks for your efforts and willingness to try everything to grow the club!

Good Morning All,

In regards to the incoming snow storm, the Snow Pioneers trails are CLOSED for the season. There are several factors at play here.

1. The ground is not frozen below, heavy rain this morning, and being this late in the season, the snow melts quickly from both bottom and top side
2. The club decided at last weeks meeting to begin removing trails signs and close the trails.
3. A few farmers have begun spreading manure and doing a little field/tile work and that puts the Snowmobilers at risk of hitting something.

We ask that you please respect the trail Closed status and our wonderful landowners! Until next season.

Still looking for a assistance with this established trail section. It’s a great scenic trail with a large majority of permanent markings, the individuals can use SxS to place the temporary field markings. Usually those signs go in around Thanksgiving and need to come out in March. Let us know if able to help in this area!

TRAIL REPORT 2-21-26:

First we would like to say a huge thank you to everyone that visited and rode our trail system today supporting our local businesses and sponsors. Another thanks goes to the people behind the scenes doing the trail grooming and trail maintenance, without them there would be no trails. Finally our landowners who allow our trail system through their property.

Our trail system today saw a lot of traffic. Overall they held up well and remain in fair to okay condition in most areas. Trails to the south have more coverage than areas to the north. You will encounter some thinner areas here and there.

We are continuing to groom through tonight into tomorrow so please WATCH FOR THE GROOMER!!

There will more than likely be moderate traffic on our trails again tomorrow. We hope everyone has a great Sunday on our trail system and take the opportunity to ride!

Our area came up on the short end of the snowfall. We have around 4 inches but the majority is wind blown drifts in spots. Not much widespread riding available. Fields are bare. Check out our friends to the North and Northwest!
