TheHeARTStudio is a mobile outreach healing arts ministry that travels to treatment centers, housing communities, group homes, lockdown facilities, to share the gospel in a unique way with children and adult participants who battle mental health, homelessness, addiction, physical or cognitive limitations and abuse. Just as Jesus went from place to place, TheHeARTStudio bounces around Coffee County and smaller surrounding areas. They share Christ Through Creativity by bringing healing arts in all forms with visual art projects, expressive writing and worship music. TheHeARTStudio serves in this way to help participants build boldness, confidence and self-worth, and embrace their idenity in Christ.
1. By exploring different artistic mediums, we take participants outside of their comfort zone and ask to trust the Lord through the process with a YES in their hearts. They are introduced to creative freedoms in a new way, which for some, can be intimidating or challenging. By guiding them and encouraging them with the use of Biblical scripture, participants lean into The Holy Spirit to create their own masterpiece, just as God has created us as His masterpiece. We believe God is the ultimate healer, poet and artists. The sessions are free, confidential, and are layered with depth to love one another just as Christ has shared His HeART with us.
