Join Harpeth Conservancy and Duck River Watershed Society at Common John Brewing Co. in Manchester for a special screening of Down the Duck, A River in Peril, A Community in Action, a film by Archaea Productions in partnership with Nashville PBS.

This documentary is a powerful journey down one of Tennessee’s most extraordinary rivers and the communities connected by it. Follow conservationist and adventurer John Guider as he paddles 270 miles of the Duck River, exploring its beauty, biodiversity, challenges, and the people working to protect it for future generations.

Come early, bring a friend, and experience the story of a river that flows through the heart of Tennessee.

Doors open at 4pm, film starts at 4:30pm! (The Brewery will have drinks and food available for purchase!)

We’re thrilled to share that we’ve been awarded a grant from The Lillian Ashley Fund at Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee!

This support fuels our mission to increase education and sustainability in America's most diverse river---the Duck River and helps us make a meaningful difference in Coffee County.

What a great Duck River Watershed Society Education Day event; our first. Almost 200 sixth graders from the Coffee County Middle School joined the DRWS for a day of hands on ecology and science at the Old Stone Fort State Park on Tuesday, May 12th.

Many thanks to the Old Stone Fort State Park team, led by Marlie Gibbs, for hosting this event, the Coffee County Middle School, The Tennessee Duck River Agency, and the DRWS Board Team.

Great appreciation to our funders: The Lillian Ashley Fund, The Maddox Fund and the Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival for support of this effort.

The final joint statement from the Duck River Watershed Grassroots Coalition regarding the Governor’s signing of HB1510 / SB1590 and the expansion of Scenic River protections within the Duck River Watershed. Thank you to the Harpeth Conservancy for being the tip of the spear.
