With it getting closer to the Labor Day Holiday I wanted to send out an early reminder that the Manawa Area Food Pantry will be closed on the Monday of Labor Day, September 7th. Following the Holiday, the Food Pantry will be open September 14th as usual from 9am till Noon and again that evening 4pm till 6pm. Hope Everyone is enjoying the end of Summer.

Wanted to share a few things happening in Manawa this next week.

The Manawa Area Food Pantry will be continuing with hours 4-6PM the First Mondays of the Month (unless it's a holiday then it is the following Monday), in addition to our normal hours. July 6th, August 3rd, and September 14th we will be open from 4-6 PM for anyone that can't make our normal hours. Needs for this Month is toilet paper and Lunch soups (soups with meat). Hope Everyone is enjoying this summer's beautiful weather we have had. Looking to get hot humid weather this next week. We would again like to thank everyone that has helped with donations. It is greatly appreciated.

The Manawa Area Food Pantry will be open normal hours this coming Monday, June 1st, from 9 till noon and then will reopen 5-6pm. 1 hour only due to our quarterly meeting. At that time, we will make a decision if we continue the later afternoon hours going forward and if they are needed. We would again like to Thank the Community of Manawa for all the continued support you continue to give to the Manawa Area Food Pantry.

Just a reminder the Manawa Area Food Pantry is open today Monday May 4th, from 4 till 6pm if you need to pick up or drop off food. After today we will decide if the extra afternoon hours are needed or not and if we will continue with it going forward. 😊
