✨Quick update on (and the girls)! 📸✨

If you’ve been following Hadley’s journey, you know he’s had a rough path to get here. But you’d never guess it looking at him now! He is adjusting so smoothly, getting comfortable, and making it his personal life mission to eat all the groceries we put in front of him.🥕🌾(And the ones he steals from his neighbor Sonata! She may only have one eye, but she can still see him🤣)

The four girls are keeping each other company and are also settling in! They seem to be happy, and thriving. Enjoy a few quick pictures of our handsome guy and the girls!

💔 HE IS SAFE AT LAST 💔

What this precious soul went through is horrific, unacceptable, and heartbreaking. Animals cannot speak up for themselves—and that is exactly why we do what we do.

We were also able to get 4 other mares plus out at the same time. The other 4 girls are at a friends pasture down the road to recover and heal in a safe place.

We held off on posting right away because we wanted to give Hadley the time and space he so desperately needed to acclimate to his new surroundings, decompress, and begin settling into a peaceful life.

Hadley is now enjoying his retirement, eating lots of good hay and food, and we are pretty sure he is absolutely loving his new fresh start! 🐴✨
But he has a long road of care ahead and we cannot do it without our incredible community.

🌾Here is how you can help:
* Groceries, Feed & Hay: Hadley has a big appetite and needs plenty of nutrition to rebuild his strength.
* Dental Care: ALL 5 of them are in need of having their teeth floated.
* Specialized Farrier Care: Hadley requires custom orthopedic shoes to keep him comfortable, sound, and able to walk due to an old injury in the past. Our Farrier will be taking care of his feet every 5 weeks and we don’t know yet what the cost will be. The 4 girls will also need trimmed.
✨Every single donation—no matter how small—makes a direct impact on Hadley’s healing and quality of life. And it will also help the other 4 horses that made it out in our care.

Our number one goal in the next few weeks is to get Hadley back to his beautiful and healthy self and for him to trust again.

🐴👀By the way, Hadley, is such an amazing horse that he appeared on the cover of the Appaloosa magazine back in his day. We’ve got to get his spirits back up to where it was when he was that beautiful show horse!👀 (And if anyone can find me that magazine, I would greatly appreciate it)

FYI 🚨 There is a group posing as us and scamming people…. I’m currently trying to report them but Facebook makes it super difficult. 😡
A lady called me this evening to ask me if I had one of the horses that they are trying to “rehome” before she actually sent them money🤬
What the HERD is wrong with people??? Get a damn job!!!! 😣

🖼️Just some pictures from the last week or so!! We’ve just been trying to stay out of the sun and stay cool. It’s been super duper hot and humid here🥵
