PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT
The next Veterans Memorial brick order prior to the ribbon cutting ceremony will be placed on March 31. This will give us enough lead time to receive the order, schedule installation and help us prepare for a ribbon cutting ceremony date.

GVCA will be taking orders at the Veterans Memorial site from 10 am to 3 pm on March 28 during Grant-Valkaria Days (cash, check and credit cards accepted). You can also visit Grant-Valkaria Town Hall Monday - Thursday 8 am - 5 pm to place your brick order. Checks and cash only accepted at Town Hall.

We have received several text messages inquiring about the ribbon-cutting ceremony for the Veterans Memorial Park Grant-Valkaria.

We were hoping for a November ribbon-cutting ceremony; unfortunately, it has been postponed.

The landscaping and Veteran bricks have been installed. however, with the rain and weather, our brick mason has not been able to finish.

We still have the floor that we are going to put a finish on.
Mother Nature threw us a few curveballs, and the contractors have
been busy catching up on their "paid" jobs, which, hopefully, anyone would understand. We also received some damaged products and are patiently awaiting that outcome.
Unfortunately, the ribbon-cutting will be postponed until the above items are completed.
We will be sure to keep you posted.

Very professional and knowledgeable of the landscaping that would work best for our project and THEY NAILED IT!!! We are one week away from the Tee off of the 6th Annual Sandhill Crane Golf Tournament benefiting the Veterans Memorial Park Grant-Valkaria.

The golf ball drop will take place at 7:30 am on the  practice range at the habitat golf course. Don’t miss out on your chance to win $1000.

You still have time to purchase your golf ball drop tickets at the Grant Farmers Market tomorrow from 10 AM until 2 PM.

We will have golf registration forms available.

 The Veterans Memorial/GVCA booth will be located inside the basketball court on Grant Seafood Festival grounds.

Now that all the rain and wind has moved out, this week should be very productive for the Veterans’ Memorial Park. All of the bricks are here and tomorrow we will get installation scheduled.. flag poles should go up, railing is near completion…a few more items should be arriving soon. Landscaping will be installed next week.

Dont forget to register for the 6th annual sandhill crane golf tournament in full swing (no pun intended)  don’t forget to register your team. It helps us make our Veterans Memorial Park a reality. We appreciate your support!
