NHCP is excited to host this Wildlife and Forestry webinar tomorrow afternoon. We hope you can join us. This program will be followed by a field session here on North Haven on August 18th. For more information contact NHCP at [email protected].

NHCP will be hosting a webinar, Forestry for Maine Birds tomorrow 5/11/26 at 1:00 pm. This program will discuss integrating bird conservation with forestry management. The webinar will be followed up with an in person field session here on North Haven on Tuesday June 30. We hope you can join us. The webinar will be recorded and available on the NHCP website.

NHCP is hosting a series of forestry programs this year. These programs are designed for landowners, land managers and anyone interested in learning more about our natural environment. The first two programs are virtual and will be followed by field session later in the summer. We hope you can join us for some or all of these programs. For more information contact NHCP.

Please join NHCP for a volunteer trail work day on Burnt Island Monday, April 27. Meet at the new Burnt Island Parking lot at 12:30 pm, bring loppers if you have them.

The new parking area for Burnt Island is now complete. Many thanks to the Cobb family for allowing this parking to be put on their property. Thanks to Aaron Cabot and Elliott Brown Contracting for doing the work. Please use this new parking area when visiting Burnt Island.

The North Shore trail had a number of blowdowns across it, but they are now cleared and the trail is open for your enjoyment.
