💔 SHE WAS ON THE EUTHANASIA LIST… UNTIL TODAY! 🥺🐾

Today, Magnolia Tails Rescue stepped in and saved this sweet girl from euthanasia. ❤️

As you can see, her eye is in heartbreaking condition, and she desperately needs veterinary care. We don’t know yet if her eye can be saved or if removal will be necessary.

We’re already overwhelmed with medical expenses, but we couldn’t turn our backs on her. 🥺

🙏 We’re asking for your help with her upcoming medical bills! Even $5 can make a difference in giving this baby the second chance she deserves.

We saved her life. Now we need your help getting her healthy! ❤️🐾

🐾 UPDATE ON OUR NEWEST RESCUE KITTEN 🥺❤️

Our sweet girl is still at HUB Veterinary Clinic, and we’re moving forward with X-rays and blood work to hopefully get some answers as to why she’s not wanting to eat.

She’s extremely malnourished and has clearly been through so much already. 💔

We’ve been quoted $300 for today’s diagnostics, and we’re asking for your help in covering her medical expenses.

Every dollar makes a difference, and even sharing this post means so much to us. We just want to give this sweet baby the fighting chance she deserves. 🐾❤️

Please consider donating if you’re able. No amount is too small.

Thank you for always helping us give these babies a second chance. ❤️

🚨 URGENT MEDICAL DONATIONS NEEDED 🚨💔

This sweet little girl has been failed by humans, and now she needs our help. 🥺

We recently rescued this precious kitten after she had been severely neglected. She is extremely malnourished, nothing but skin and bones, and unfortunately, she hasn’t been wanting to eat for us. 💔

We are currently at HUB Veterinary Clinic, where she is undergoing diagnostics in hopes of finding out what’s wrong and getting her the medical care she desperately needs.

We weren’t prepared for another medical expense, but we couldn’t turn our backs on her.

We’re asking our amazing community to please help us give this little girl a fighting chance. 🐾❤️

🙏 Please consider donating toward her medical care.

We’ll continue to update everyone as we get answers.

Thank you for always helping us be their voice when they need it most. ❤️

🐾 FUN FACT FRIDAY! 🐱💙

Did you know? A cat can carry feline herpesvirus for its entire life, even if it looks perfectly healthy! 😱

Feline herpesvirus (FHV-1) is one of the most common causes of upper respiratory infections in cats.

🐱 Here’s what makes it interesting!

💙 Once infected, most cats carry the virus for life.

🐾 Stress can cause the virus to reactivate, leading to sneezing, watery eyes, or nasal discharge.

💙 Some cats can go months or even years without showing symptoms!

🐾 Feline herpesvirus is NOT contagious to humans — it’s specific to cats!

✨ The good news? Cats with feline herpesvirus can still live long, happy, healthy lives with proper care!

At Magnolia Tails Rescue, we believe education helps save lives! 💙🐾

🐾 COURTESY POST — MOM & DAUGHTER LOOKING FOR HOMES 🐾

Meet Sheba & Charlotte! 🩶

These two beautiful girls were originally rescued as strays and have been lovingly cared for while waiting for their forever homes.

🐱 Sheba is mama and is approximately 1 year old. She has already been spayed through a community cat program.

🐱 Charlotte is her sweet little girl and is approximately 3 months old. She has received her first vaccinations but still needs to be spayed.

Their rescuer has already put so much love, time, and veterinary care into getting these girls healthy and ready for their next chapter. Now they just need help finding the right families. ❤️

If you’re interested in giving Sheba or Charlotte a forever home, please message us and we can connect you with their current caretaker. Shares are also greatly appreciated!

Courtesy Post: Sheba and Charlotte are not currently in the care of Magnolia Tails Rescue. We are simply helping their rescuer get them seen and hopefully find wonderful homes. 🐾

🐾 HAPPY TAIL UPDATE: MR. PETAL 🐾

Remember Mr. Petal? 🥹❤️

It’s officially been about a month since this sweet boy left Magnolia Tails Rescue and headed home with his forever family — and we couldn’t have asked for a happier update!

Mr. Petal is now Anakin, a name his family says fits his bold and mischievous personality perfectly. 😂 He spends his days copying his big brother Pippin, eating ALL the food, parkouring off the walls, playing with his jingle toys, and — most importantly — being completely spoiled and loved. 🥰

When Mr. Petal was with us, he seemed so depressed. Seeing the difference a loving home has made in just one month is exactly why we do what we do. Look at that happy, comfortable boy! 😭❤️

His family told us, “We love spoiling him and life is certainly not boring with him and his siblings.”

From Mr. Petal ➡️ Anakin — safe, loved, spoiled, and HOME. 🏡🐾

These are the updates that make rescue worth every hard day. ❤️

🐾 Cleaning Out? Your Unwanted Items Can Help Our Rescue! 🐾

One of our amazing supporters, Michelle, is having a neighborhood yard sale this Friday & Saturday and has offered to sell donated items to help raise funds for Magnolia Tails Rescue! 💕

If you have any gently used, sellable items around your home that you no longer need, please consider donating them to the yard sale! Clothes, home décor, household items, pet supplies, and other sellable items are all appreciated.

Please reach out to Michelle Sosa Carter directly if you have anything you’d like to donate to the yard sale. She can coordinate pickup or drop-off with you! 🏡💗

All proceeds from donated items will help us continue providing food, litter, veterinary care, medications, and other necessities for the cats and kittens in our care. 🐱🐾

Thank you for continuing to find ways to support our little rescue — even something you no longer need could make a difference for one of our babies. ❤️
