Our Body

Can we, especially as Women, recall of a day that we didn't think about our weight or image?

We have been taught from an early age by society to obsess over our outward form, and that lesson has been reinforced throughout our lives.

We have forgotten that we CHOSE our form! We planned our bodies and our image for this incarnation meticulously. We made no mistakes. We are who we desired to be. We are exactly what is needed for the experience we came for.

These bodies have carried us through so many lessons. These bodies have sheltered us and held us in tough times. These bodies have been with us from the very beginning.

They have seen what we have seen, felt what we have felt. We have this ONE body.

Most of us know what it is to be rejected and how it stings, and yet we reject our bodies everyday in one way or another.

We have to see these forms we carry as our friend. Sometimes our friend helps us and sometimes it needs our help.

Our bodies are made from Mother Earth and mixed with Stardust and Magic. Do you think a tree worries for it's lumps and grooves or browning leaves?

Our body has seasons just as Earth has seasons. They change as they should, weakening on the outer layers and focusing on the power rising within.

We are PERFECT. We are BEAUTIFUL. We CHANGE with the seasons and FLOW with the tides.

Our bodies are OUR HOME for a short time. Let us love them, accept them, and CHOOSE them again.

Change

Einstein's famous quote concerning change was this.. "Insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results."

I would rephrase it as this..."Nothing changes if you change nothing."

Many of us are striving and searching for change in our lives and on our spiritual journey, but how much are we willing to change?

Many of us are stuck in repeating patterns and loops. It literally takes a small shift, a first step in a new direction to break the cycle.

The next time we feel stuck, let's imagine it as a puzzle or maze. What have we always done in the past? What can we do differently this time? Change a note, alter the step, switch up the reaction.

What magic is waiting on the other side of that twinkle of awareness and little pivet of action? A pattern completed and dissolved, lesson mastered and soul expansion?

Let's change up something and find out together!
