Thank you to WKRG for highlighting us on your story about rising fuel costs.

While costs continue to increase, our commitment to this community remains the same. When you call, we will respond. Our volunteers will always be there to help our neighbors and serve Magnolia Springs with pride.

Your donations help keep our fleet fueled, maintained, and ready to respond when emergencies happen. We are grateful for the continued support of our community.

Thank you for standing behind your local volunteer fire department. ❤️🚒

When a 911 call comes in, fire trucks must be ready to roll, but lately, pulling up to the pump comes with a higher price tag for volunteer fire departments. https://www.wkrg.com/baldwin-county/how-rising-fuel-costs-are-impacting-volunteer-firefighters-across-baldwin-county/?utm_medium=social&utm_source=facebook_WKRG

Search and rescue was the subject of this week's drill at the Magnolia Springs Volunteer Fire Department. Using pallets arranged to mimic a typical house floor plan, fire fighters learned how to force entry, search and remove a trapped victim.from a residence. Firefighter Ryan Rail demonstrates how to reach out to locate an unconscious victim while maintaining contact with a wall that will help him from getting disoriented in a smoke filled house.

Tonight, some of our members had the opportunity to train using the Alabama Fire College’s Mobile Driving Simulator!

The simulator provides realistic, hands-on experience in emergency vehicle operations — allowing our firefighters to practice navigating hazardous road conditions, high-traffic responses, and critical decision-making scenarios in a safe, controlled environment.

We are grateful to Robertsdale Fire Department for bringing this valuable training resource to our area and helping us continue to sharpen our skills.

Training like this ensures we are prepared, professional, and ready to respond safely — for our crew and for the community we proudly serve. 🚒🔥
