Vendor news!

The Organizers report that about half of the available spots for Vendors at the Magna Main Street Arts Festival happening on August 15th, 2026 have now been filled. If you have been waiting to apply, get your inquiry in soon. The application process is easy, starting with a few simple questions where you describe your proposed booth, and how to contact you.

No payment required just to send that form in online. The Festival staff will then review each application to see if it is a good fit for a local Arts Festival. (There is an emphasis this year on getting more original creative arts Vendors. Food, Drink, business services, etc., can also apply, but there may not be enough room for all of them, so that will take some working through to avoid duplication of similar Vendors.)

Get your application started as soon as you are sure by filling out the quick initial questionnaire/form online at:
https://www.magnaarts.org/vendor-application

** IMPORTANT UPDATE FOR VENDORS ! **

The Vendor applications to sell at the Magna Main Street Arts Festival may have had a technical glitch. As part of updating the new web site, any Vendor applications submitted from April 1 to April 15, 2026 are possibly lost in the cloud. If you filled out an application form during that time, it may have been received, but it may NOT have made it through the entire process. To make sure your application is still in the loop, it should be re-submitted.

To find the online application to be a Vendor, the simplest way is to follow this direct link:

https://www.magnaarts.org/vendor-application

(The Festival happens on August 15, 2026, but the Vendor applications are open NOW, so make sure you apply to be a Vendor as soon as you are sure you want to participate.)

Please don't worry about any problem with having two Vendor booths instead of one. Remember that the form is just a REQUEST to be considered by sending in some basic information. When the Festival staff responds it will be clear. Having 2 application forms only means that you'll be sure to be seen and considered. When accepted, you still only pay for 1 booth.

Thanks for your patience. The re-submission should only take a few minutes, but could make sure you don't miss out on the event.

Vendor sign-ups are open NOW for the upcoming Magna Main Street Arts Festival on Saturday, August 15th, 2026.

The Festival is free to attend, and it can be rewarding to Vend. Experienced and first-time Vendors are welcome to apply. The process is simple. Booth fees are some of the lowest in the valley for such a big event.

1. Go online to the new Arts Council of Magna Web Page at www.magnaarts.org There is a path there to submit your application, but if you can't find it quickly here is the direct link: https://www.magnaarts.org/vendor-application

2. Answer the basic questions on the form. Who are you? How to contact you? What kind of Vending booth do you want to do? Basic stuff. You don't even pre-pay for simply submitting this application/inquiry.

3. The Festival staff will look over each application and reply. Most Vendors of original Arts and creative work are accepted - it is an Arts Festival after all. Vendors of Food & Beverage, or professional services, etc. may need additional information or steps to make sure there is minimal duplication of similar services at the event, and that you can legally offer what you propose, and that it is a good fit for a community event.

4. If accepted the Vendor manager will send you a PayPal invoice by e-mail. Only then do you actually pay for your space.

5. WARNING!! There are scammers claiming to be the "official" contact for this event and other festivals/events in the area. Don't believe them, and don't pay them, because that does NOT get you space, and your money will be wasted.

Any other questions? We are still months away, so there is time to work out issues. Ask here or message through the Arts Council web site. We will post clarifications and updates as needed.

THANKS for being a part of local art!

Photography is an art form with flexible ways to be good, or even great. Photos can be done with a decent cell phone, or improve your results with specialized high-end photo gear. The images you capture might be a matter or luck, or made with serious planning and experience and ex*****on.

If you like the idea of taking photos and sharing the results, then what are you doing for the rest of this week? The fourth annual "Lens of Magna" photo contest is accepting entries in various categories, with entries due Saturday, April 11, 2026. Prizes are available in each category.

Rules are simple, but read them in advance at https://www.lensofmagna.com/

There you'll be able to see samples of past winners to see what is the standard for this opportunity. The most interesting part of the contest is that it really is designed to showcase Magna. All photos submitted must be taken near Magna Main Street, but they can still be as varied as the imaginations and talents of each person who submits photos.

Most photographers can enter by submitting their pix online by the deadline, but those defined as "professional" photographers have additional requirements.
