We are very grateful for the generous donation and being selected as one of the TVA Robotics Award Winners for 2026-2027 season. This year’s award will help us kick off our competition season as we explore underwater robotics and participate in the MATE ROV Ranger division.

SAY WATT!?! We are back in the water again for round two! Our robot had a successful second splash down and now we are preparing and planning for the upcoming challenges.

New adventure underway!

Our team kicked off the summer season with an in-depth introduction to the MATE ROV program, discussing our vision and phased plan for a successful rookie year. Team members also got their first hands-on experience with our new soldering station, learning essential skills that will help bring our ROV designs to life.

We’re excited to start building, learning, and growing together as we prepare for the season ahead!

Day 3 (posted late;) It was a super rainy day! We had our three robot matches, not our best performance but we improved each match. One of the girls said it perfectly, Steve (robot) ran perfectly but our hands aren’t as reliable. We got to build on the Lego mural for next year’s theme, watch the big robots (FRC), candy bar reward at the hotel and capped the day off with some serious board game competiton.

FIRST World Championships Day 2, we started the day off early with a practice round then right to judging. We are teaching the chicken dance and meet the Lego table game designer. We were told the chicken will make an appearance next season. Lastly, we made way through the innovation fair and the navy exhibits. It’s been a good but the chickens are exhausted!

FIRST World Championships day 1
We built the chicken coop, met some people from all over the world (Austria, Belize, & Korea are our neighbors) while collecting buttons, swam in the pool and now exhausted. It’s early morning for us….good night my chickens!
