We exist to minister to the body of Christ by nurturing the saints and reaching out to those who don't know Christ. We offer Christ-centered camps and retreats that are biblically sound and relationally strong, providing godly leadership for age sensitive programming in a fun-filled environment. Summer camps for kids and youth run May-August, and our facilities are exclusively available for use by church groups and para church ministries for spiritual retreats during the rest of the year.

We’ve been digging through the archives lately.

These are a few of the summer camp brochures we’ve found from the 1950s and 60s. The prices have changed. The hairstyles have changed. The activities have changed.

But summer at LFR? Not as much as you might think.

For 76 years, generations of kids have made their way down the Tram Road for a week of camp, friendship, fun, and time set apart to hear the Gospel.

And now we’re getting ready for summer #77.

Summer 2027 reservations open November 1 for everyone.

Labor Day weekend is one of our favorite weekends of the year. It’s busy and full, but in the best way. There were so many familiar faces, so many reunions, and so much of the LFR family back together in the forest.

Wow! We shared about the Loblolly Club just last week, and since then 13 more people have chosen to stand with LFR month after month. That brings us to 37 of 50!! We’re now just 13 members away from our goal of 50 Loblolly Club members this year.

As we’ve been sorting through old photos, we’ve been reminded of just how many people have been part of the story of Lake Forest Ranch over the years. Swipe through a few of those memories with us.

MEET THE LOBLOLLY CLUB

There are people who have been coming to Lake Forest Ranch for years. They've been campers. Counselors. Pastors. Volunteers. Parents. Leaders. And some of them have chosen to do something a little different: they've decided to stand with LFR every single month.

They're the Loblolly Club.

The Loblolly Club is a group of people who make a recurring gift to Lake Forest Ranch—helping provide a steady foundation for the ministry that happens here all year long. There's no set amount. It's not about giving a certain number. It's simply about choosing to consistently invest in the work of LFR.

And this year, we're hoping to grow the Loblolly Club to 50 members.

We're already off to a good start. 24 people have joined us without us ever really making a big push for it. Now we'd love to invite 26 more. Maybe that's $15 a month. Maybe it's $25. Maybe it's $50.
