Hometown Market on Broad returns Saturday, September 12 from 9:00 AM–12:30 PM at 304 Society Garden, and this one has something for everybody.

Browse local vendors then have the kids visit the FREE Teddy Bear Clinic with Memorial Health Meadows Hospital, where their favorite stuffed animal can get its very own check-up. Plus, the Lyons Fire Department will be there to add even more fun to the morning!

🦁 ❤️ SAVE YOUR POP TABS — THEY REALLY DO ADD UP!

The Lyons Lions Club is partnering with the Lyons-Vidalia Moose Lodge to collect aluminum pop tabs for Ronald McDonald House in Savannah.

And those tiny tabs can make a BIG difference!

In 2025 alone, more than 18 MILLION pop tabs were collected, generating $6,187 to support families staying at Ronald McDonald House in Savannah.

It costs more than $150 per night to provide a family with a room, meals and support — yet families are never charged to stay. Proceeds from recycled pop tabs help make that possible.

❤️ What can you save?
If it’s aluminum and has a pull tab, it counts!

🥤 Soda cans
⚡ Energy drinks
🥫 Soup cans
💧 Sparkling water
…and more!

So before you toss that can, pull the tab and save it!

Collect them at home, work, church, school — anywhere you can — and bring your tabs to our Lyons Lions Club meetings. We’ll make sure they get where they need to go.

Supporting children and families is especially meaningful to Lions, as Childhood Cancer is one of Lions Clubs International’s global causes.

One tiny tab doesn’t seem like much. But 18 million tiny tabs? That carries some weight. ❤️🦁
