Make a Wood Pen on a Lathe at a Free Workshop!

Join us for a free pen turning event at the Foundry Makerspace Workshop on Saturday, June 27. We start at 9:00AM to around 12:00 Noon. Your participation is expected to be about ½ hour, and you will walk away with a nice pen, crafted with your own hands.

Or drop by during the day to observe and take a chance!

There is no experience required. Minors under 18 must be accompanied by a parent.

We have done this before, and it always proves to be a lot of fun.

All pen parts and materials are included.

We still have spaces in our Stencil Art Creation workshop this coming Monday and Wednesday!

Intro to Multi-Color Stencil Printing - April 13 and 15, 5-9 PM

In this two day workshop we will explore three typical methods to create stencils; hand-cut (knife), laser-cut, and photo-emulsion processes. The bulk of workshop time will be used to mount stencil layers onto a printing pallet. We will register the layers to print multiple-color images.

The Foundry provides card stock for the workshop. For the second session, please feel free to bring your own cards or clothing to print on.

Participants will take home printed articles.
