Students can explore a wide range of hands-on experiences this summer, including Basketball and Football camps, Modern Band, Dance, and more. There’s something for everyone to try, learn, and enjoy. Science in the classroom at Lyndon Institute is all about hands-on learning and real-world connections. This year, students in Jill Nichol’s environmental science class spent time working with an “Electricity and Climate Change” kit from the Vermont and New Hampshire Energy Education Program. They explored how electricity is generated, how energy use impacts climate change, and the role renewable energy plays in the future. The unit wrapped up with students creating their own Action Plans, using what they learned to think about ways they can make a difference in their communities. It’s always great to see students dive in and connect their learning beyond the classroom.

On Sunday, May 17, three Lyndon Institute students celebrated the culmination of two years of dual enrollment through the Lyndon Learning Collaborative (LLC) partnership between Lyndon Institute and Vermont State University by earning their Associate of Arts degrees while still in high school! These students will also receive their high school diplomas with the Lyndon Institute Class of 2026 on June 7. Congratulations to Margaret Brown, Griffin Lawson, and Logan Nelson on this incredible achievement. Your hard work, dedication, and commitment to academic excellence continue to make the LI community proud!

We’re proud to announce that 27 students from the Lyndon Institute Welding Program have successfully passed their welding certification tests! These nationally recognized certifications represent a major accomplishment and open the door to career opportunities in the welding and construction industries.
