Yesterday was a great day at the Tennessee State Fair!

🎤 Amelia & Chevelle competed in 4-H Public Speaking with 33 participants (jr. high age division) from across Tennessee.

📸 Sadie Matzkiw entered two photography contests and won both! 🏆

🎨 Amelia’s poster was also displayed in the 4-H Building.

🌟 Chevelle won tickets to the Picnic at the Fair, where she got to hear Governor Bill Lee speak and meet amazing people from across Tennessee!

We are so thankful for the opportunities and experiences our Moore County 4-Hers have💚🍀

The 4-H Chick Show & Auction will be held on
Monday, September 14th!
The show will feature Americana and Black s*x Links raised by our amazing 4-H students. 🏅

🎉 Everyone is welcome!
All proceeds go right back into the Chick Chain Project to purchase pullets for next year, helping us keep this awesome tradition going strong!

Come cheer on our students, enjoy the show, and maybe even leave with a few hens of your own. We can’t wait to see you there! 🐥✨

🐔 Could you be a poultry judge?

Youth in 4th–12th grade will learn how to evaluate eggs, chicken parts, carcasses, hens, and processed poultry products while preparing to compete in the September 24th contest in Murfreesboro.

No prior poultry experience is required! 🐔

📅 First practice: August 12 at 3:30 p.m.
📍 Moore County Building
