Great News on this Extra Day of the Year! We have a new American flag retirement box in the Moore County Courthouse. 🇺🇸

The box is provided thanks to a partnership with the National Association of Counties (NACo) and the Tennessee County Services Association (TCSA).

When an American flag becomes worn out or torn, the U.S. Flag Code dictates how to respectfully retire it. Too many of our residents are unsure of how to care for our nation's symbol.

In Moore County, we have partnered with Lynchburg Boy Scout Troop 502. They will be monitoring the box, collecting the flags and will carry out regular retirement ceremonies.

We had an awesome time helping with the Oak Barrel this year. As you can guess our water stop theme was "Scooby Doo". All of our wooden characters were hand drawn, cut out, and painted!

Our annual pinewood derby race is always so much fun! So many awesome car designs.

Thanks to everyone who made our Chili Supper & Silent Auction a great success! So many people & businesses donated items for our silent auction, our parents made a LOT of chili & desserts, and so many people came out to eat and bid! We couldn't have done it without you!

Don't forget our Chili Supper & Silent Auction is tomorrow from 4-7 pm in the LES Cafeteria. Come out and enjoy some great food and fellowship and we have some awesome auction items!

We enjoyed the Lynchburg, Tullahoma, & Decherd parades this year. It was a little cold and really wet but we still had fun.
