💜👜 The Rotary Club of Long County expresses the utmost gratitude to those who have contributed to the “Fill A Purse” cause. 💜

The Rotary Club was able to donate nearly one hundred purses 👜🎁 to The Tri-County Protective Services Agency in Liberty County and to the DMJ House Of Hope Ministry for Women’s Recovery in Liberty/Long County. 🤝💕

What a wonderful outreach project this has been, serving in such a way that brings comfort, encouragement, and support to those who need it most. 🌷✨

Thank You again to everyone for making this project possible and one that was very well received!! 💜🙌😊

We are proud to recognize this year’s Rotary Scholarship winners!

Each year, our Rotary Club is honored to invest in outstanding students who exemplify both academic commitment and a heart for service.

This year, we awarded two scholarships:

✨ Kathy Simmons "Service Above Self" Scholarship – presented to a student who demonstrates a strong commitment to community service and lives out the Rotary value of “Service Above Self” through their actions and involvement.

Congratulations to Briana Copes for earning the Kathy Simmons "Service Above Self" Scholorship.

🔧 Vocational Scholarship – awarded to a student pursuing vocational/technical education, supporting their path as they develop hands-on skills for a successful career in a skilled trade.

Congratulations to Matthee Tewalt for earning the Vocational Scholorship.

We are excited to see all that these students will accomplish in the future. Congratulations to both recipients—we are proud of you and wish you continued success in your journey!

Rotarians are invited to participate in this community service initiative. We extend our gratitude to Badger Lumber, Ludowici, for generously donating materials for the construction of two benches. Additionally, we acknowledge Mrs. Sharon Cummings and Ms. Brandi Middleton for their contributions towards a bench. We can’t wait to share pictures of the completed project.

💥🚗 READY FOR ROTARY’S RAGE CAR?! 🚗💥

The Rotary Club of Long County is bringing the chaos to Freedom Fest with Rotary’s Rage Car: A Swing for a Swing!🔨🔥

Join us June 27 from 2–9 PM in Downtown Ludowici and take your turn destroying a REAL car donated by the awesome folks at Clark’s Towing! We’ll have sledgehammers, bats, crowbars, mallets, and more waiting for you to unleash your inner rage. 😎💪

But this isn’t just about smashing metal…every swing helps raise funds for the installation of an ADA-accessible swing at the Long County Recreation Department so ALL kids can experience the joy of the playground. 💙

Come let loose, make some memories, and help us build something meaningful for our community one swing at a time!

🌟 What an incredible first year for our Chartering Interact Club! 🌟

As their sponsoring club, the Rotary Club of Long County could not be more proud of these outstanding student leaders. They began the year with 13 members and finished strong with 17! That’s proof that their passion for service and leadership is already inspiring others to join their mission. 💙💛

On May 12, we had the honor of celebrating all they accomplished during their very first year. From multiple fundraisers to impactful service projects, every effort was student-led and far exceeded our expectations. These students showed initiative, heart, teamwork, and a true commitment to serving their school and community.

During the meeting, they also voted in their new officers for next year and are already making plans over the summer to prepare for an even bigger and better year ahead.

What started this year was more than just a club, it was the beginning of a legacy that will continue for years to come. And this is only the beginning. ✨

We are so proud of each and every one of them!

Joshua is always willing to step up and serve wherever needed, whether filling in as our Sergeant at Arms or helping with community projects throughout Long County. We are so fortunate to have him as part of the Rotary Club of Long County!
