"From the moment I talked to the intake coordinator on the phone, to the moment I walked in the door, to the first group I went to, there's this element of them treating me as a human being and not just as a client."

That is Topher. And that is exactly what we are trying to build here!

Topher describes the positivity at Divided Sky as palpable. He talks about feeling like an individual, about being encouraged to be himself rather than having a blanket cure-all pushed at him. He talks about an overwhelming amount of resources and tools that he can take into the outside world. And he says this place is magical and really special.

We do not take that lightly. Not for a single day.

Recovery is deeply personal. The path that works for one person may not work for another, and we believe the most important thing we can do is meet each guest exactly where they are. Not as a case. Not as a client. As a human being.

If you or someone you love is looking for a place that will treat them that way, we would love to talk.

At Divided Sky, we truly believe that Community is vital. Recently, Dr. Radha Lewis shared her beautiful experience at our 2026 Fun(d) Run and Music on the Mountain on the Like an Antelope podcast.

Radha brings so much light to everything she touches, from her fierce advocacy in the breast cancer community to her unwavering support for our mission in Ludlow. Listen to Episode 6 to hear all about the magic of that weekend and how we are moving forward together to support individuals in recovery.

Thank you, Radha, for sharing your story and your joy with us!

When you call a residential recovery program, you’re usually bracing yourself for a clinical experience . . . a sterile voice, a checklist of diagnostic questions, and a process that feels more like an interrogation than an invitation.

At Divided Sky, we do things differently. The first voice you hear belongs to Kyle!

Kyle is our Intake Coordinator, but more importantly, he’s someone who meets people with warmth, humor, and a profound understanding of the shared experience of addiction. He isn’t interested in cookie-cutter processes or cold clinical narratives. He’s interested in forming a true connection and meeting you exactly where you are.

If you or a loved one are ready to take that next step, you won't be met with a cold clinical call to action. You'll just be met with a real person who gets it.

Ready? Hey, give Kyle a call. 888-TRY-DSKY dividedsky.org

Some gave everything so that the rest of us could have the chance to live freely, fully, and with purpose.

This Memorial Day, Divided Sky honors the memory of every service member who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country. We are grateful for your courage.

To the veterans and military families in our community: your strength inspires the work we do every day. If you or someone you love is carrying a burden that feels too heavy, please know there is a place for you here.

We are here. You are welcome. And your service matters.

Recovery is not boring.

That is something our group facilitator Chloe says with complete conviction, and she means it. At Divided Sky, fun is not a reward for doing the hard work. It is part of the work itself.

Chloe knows this from the inside out. She is in recovery herself, and she brings that lived experience into every group she facilitates. She keeps things light when they can be light, holds space when they need to be held, and never loses sight of the fact that the people walking through our doors are going through some of the hardest moments of their lives.

"Sometimes they just need space to be heard," she says. "And I know what that was like. Had I not been given that opportunity, who knows where I'd be today."

That is the Divided Sky difference. Not a clinical program. Not a rigid protocol. A community of people who have been there, who understand, and who genuinely believe that a joyful life in recovery is not just possible. It is the whole point.

2,000 people on a mountainside in Vermont. Three days of music, movement, and community. Zero substances needed. Just joy.

BIG Weekend 2026 was something we will carry with us for a long time.

From the first notes of the Campfire Jam on Friday night to the Alumni luncheon at Divided Sky on Sunday, this weekend reminded us why we do what we do. It was laughter and tears and "huge beautiful smiles." It was alumni coming home. It was families dancing together. It was the largest gathering of Yellow Balloon groups ever, filling the mountain with proof that recovery is alive and thriving.

Thank you to every single person who made this weekend possible.

To our incredible artists: Eggy, LaMP, Karina Rykman, Anders Osborne, Jackie Greene, 2LOT, the Trombone Shorty Foundation Band, Daniel Donato, Jennifer Hartswick, Natalie Cressman, Murray's Law, Evan Jennison, and our alumni songwriters Sean Leahy and Kate Gaffney, who opened the weekend by sharing their hearts. To Dave Manheim for keeping the energy right all day long.

To The Phoenix, our partner in building spaces where people can come alive again.

To the Antelope Running Club and every runner, walker, and cheerful spectator at the 5th Annual Fun(d) Run, including the incredible "About to Run" team and every single person who has shown up for all five years.

To the stage crews, the volunteers, the food trucks, the local arts vendors, and every person who worked behind the scenes to make this weekend feel effortless.

To Melanie and Trey, whose shared vision made all of this real.

To every single staff member at Divided Sky that has shown up and given everything they have to this community: your dedication, your warmth, and your belief in the people who walk through our doors is what makes moments like this possible.

And most of all, to the alumni, the guests, the families, and the community members who showed up and reminded us what this is all about. You are the reason Divided Sky exists. Your courage, your joy, and your presence on that mountain meant everything.

This is what a sober life looks like. And you cannot put a price on it.

Today is the day.

BIG Weekend 2026 is officially here, and tonight we are kicking it off the only way we know how: with music, with stories, and with the people who make this community what it is.

First up is Musicians and Mocktails, our intimate dinner concert at Coleman Brook Tavern featuring Divided Sky alumni Sean Leahy and Kate Gaffney. These two are not just talented musicians. They are people who have walked through the hardest parts of life and come out the other side with something beautiful to share. Tonight, they are sharing it with us.

Then the night opens into the Campfire Jam, an acoustic in-the-round with Anders Osborne, Jackie Greene, and Daniel Donato. Under the Vermont sky. On the mountain. With this community.

That is how you start a weekend.

Three days of music, movement, and everything that makes this life genuinely good, right here at Jackson Gore with our friends at The Phoenix. We are so glad you are here.
