American Legion Auxiliary Unit 36 History of the Auxiliary The Auxiliary was founded in 1919, and is the world’s largest patriotic women’s service organization.

With a membership at nearly 850,000, local American Legion Auxiliary units have a strong presence in more than 9,500 communities nationwide. The American Legion Auxiliary’s mission is to support The American Legion and to honor the sacrifice of those who serve by enhancing the lives of our veterans, military, and their families, both at home and abroad.

We want to express our appreciation to the Ballard Hobart American Legion Post 36 of Ludlow, VT for conducting our opening and closing ceremonies at the Iron Adventure Rally.

On Saturday July 18th they are having an All-You-Can-Eat Breakfast Buffet from 7-11 AM at 133 Main Street – Ludlow, VT. Enjoy a great breakfast before heading out to ride and show your support.
