Kingdom Come Ministries Kingdom Come Ministires exists to champion kids, transform families, and resurrect communities by making Jesus’ name famous!

To help fulfill our mission, we have remodeled two buses to create a mobile ministry. We take church to the streets of Lubbock, Texas! Each week we lead church in Stubbs park on Wednesday nights at 6pm. Every other Thursday, we take food and hygiene out to our friends to check in on them, pray with them, and often do communion together. On the days in between, we are planning, dreaming, and ministering to needs as they arise.

🍽️ DINNER FOR CHAMPION CHURCH — THURSDAY NIGHTS! 🍽️

Y’all have helped us SO much over the last couple of months with providing dinner for Champion Church, and we are incredibly grateful! ❤️ Because of your generosity, we’ve been able to make sure our amazing kids have a good meal before they head into their Thursday night.

We know that not everyone has the time to cook a meal for 40 kids or is able to come serve, so we wanted to make helping EASY! 🙌

We’ve put together a list of some of the meals we can purchase to feed 40 kids. If you’d like to sponsor a meal, simply donate the amount listed below and we’ll take care of the rest!

✈️🌎 WHAT A NIGHT AT CHAMPION CHURCH! 🌎✈️

Last Thursday was SO COOL to watch! Our mission trip simulation continued, and this time… we traveled and landed in North Korea! 🇰🇵✈️

When the kids arrived, each one received a piece of paper telling them where their secret church (small group) was being held. 🤫⛪️ They quickly learned that being a Christian in North Korea can be extremely difficult and that openly practicing your faith can come with serious consequences.

This night gave our kids a whole new perspective on something we can sometimes take for granted. We talked about how AMAZING it is that we get to live where we can talk about Jesus, worship Him, celebrate Him, and share His name openly and freely! 🙌❤️

We don't want to take that freedom for granted. Instead, we want to use it!

📣 We need to make Jesus' name FAMOUS!
We can worship Him.
We can talk about Him.
We can tell others about Him.
And we can share His love with the world!

Watching these kids learn, ask questions, and experience what it might be like to be a Christian in another part of the world was truly incredible. 🌎❤️

We can't wait to see where our mission trip takes us next Thursday! ✈️

Y’all, last Thursday was a night that every kid at Champion will remember forever! ❤️ And yes, I know we say that a lot… but honestly, it happens a lot around here! 😂

Last Thursday kicked off the first night of our Mission Trip Simulation, and we are so excited because we’ll be continuing this adventure for the next five weeks! 🌎✈️

Before heading out on their first “mission trip,” our kids got to learn all about what it takes to prepare for a trip like this. They learned about fundraising, booking flights and hotels, visiting the doctor, getting the necessary shots and medications, and preparing for what life might look like in another country.

They even got to visit our Passport Office! 🛂📸 They filled out their passport applications and had their pictures taken so they could officially get ready for their “trip.” Y’all, they were SO excited about this part!

We also talked about how things may be different from what we’re used to and how important it is to respond with kindness, patience, and love. ❤️

And of course… they got to try food from different countries! 🌎🍴 We talked about how we may not like the taste, smell, or even the way something looks—and that’s okay! We can still be respectful and kind when something is different from what we’re used to.

One of my favorite parts was watching them use the “money” they raised to actually pay for the different things along the way. 💵✈️🏨 They were learning, making decisions, asking questions, and figuring things out as they went.

Y’all, watching their faces light up and seeing those wheels turning as they took everything in was SO much fun! 🥹❤️

I think our Champions are definitely ready for their first destination this week! 🌎✈️

Who knows where they’ll be headed next?! 👀🌍

We can’t wait to see what God teaches them along the way! ❤️

This week's wish list is all about snacks for our snack bags! 🍎🥨🧃

Now that school is starting back, it's time to begin making our snack bags again! Last year, we packed 750 snack bags every month, and we expect that number to grow again this year as we continue serving more kids and schools in our community.

This year looks a little different because we will no longer be receiving snack items from the food bank. That means we're depending on the generosity of our community to help us keep this ministry going.

Hey everyone! We could really use your help! ❤️

Market Street and United have pork butts on sale for just $1 a pound, and we would LOVE to stock up on some for future Thursday night dinners at Champion Church! 🙌🏼

The only catch is that the sale ends TONIGHT, August 25th! 😳

So, if you happen to be at Market Street or United today and would be willing to grab us a pork butt (or even two!), we would be SO incredibly grateful! 🐷❤️

And don’t worry about getting it to us—we are more than happy to come pick it up from your house!
