Here was the setup before our First Friday Storytime at the City of Wolfforth Library!📚 With it being the start of Labor Day weekend, we had a very tiny (but mighty) group! One of our little friends was 2 years old and could speak 3 languages!!! 🤯

We’re honored to share that our Executive Director Abby Reed was recently selected to receive the Q2 Community Award from Tyler Technologies in Lubbock.

Abby was nominated by Mark Cavazos, Secretary of FGO’s Board of Directors. In his nomination, Mark wrote:

“Under her leadership, Family Guidance & Outreach has expanded its impact through free online parenting classes, shaken baby syndrome prevention training, school-based programs, and support services for teen parents. Recognized as a leading voice in child abuse prevention, Abby is frequently sought out for her expertise and has helped countless families access the tools, education, and resources they need to thrive”

This recognition means a great deal, particularly because it came through a nomination from someone who has served alongside FGO and believes so strongly in our mission.
