My son and I got his old pickup up and running this spring. I bought this truck from the original owner about 30 years ago. My son used it the last two years he was in high school, 1999 and 2000. The truck is a 1972,he was born in 1982. It didn't do it any good to set here for the last 25 years. It's showing it's age but you can't kill a small block. It was originally black over white two tone,pretty fancy in it's day. Guess we'll keep it a while longer.

I read a post a day or two ago that made me sad. My Friend Brayden Tucker from Leetona,Ohio has stopped selling Antique Classic Trucks.
Brayden has sold thousands of old trucks,most were exported overseas. He would resell older antique trucks to anyone that wanted one to restore or collect.
I contacted Brayden about buying Antique trucks to us as a fundraiser to support our Show. The first thing he asked me was"you're going to do what" so I told him what my idea/plan was. The longer he listened to me caused him to think that maybe I may be onto something. Long story , short, he sold me a single axle Cabover and then drove it here from eastern Ohio,in January during a major snow storm. I had finally hooked up with someone who was as crazy as myself.
Since 2016 Brayden have sold us eight Antique Trucks. He have gone out of his way to make sure we have safe,operational trucks to fundraise with.
I want to wish Brayden and Jennifer Tucker all the best as they start down a different street and to thank him publicly for all he has done to help us over the past ten years.
You are a good man my friend, keep on Truckin. See you on down the road.

I'm kinda like old Waylon Wire on YouTube, I'm not a mechanic, I'm just out here having a good time banging on this rusty old iron. Another thing I'm not is a good at marketing.I hate to go around and ask for sponsorship or to even hang flyers for our event,but I guess we are doing all right,We have about two hundred and fifteen entries for our antique truck drawing so far and we usually get some more in person at the show. Still hoping to get three hundred this year,having three trucks to give away. Do us a favor,if you would please, tell all your friends about the show and what we do to be a true self funded nonprofit. Please come and enjoy the show even if you don't want to enter the drawing. Good food,good people and for sure a good time,see you there,Saturday June 27th at Ireland's Concrete Services 1558 main road West Enfield Maine!!!!

Here comes June,27 days to showtime, still plenty of numbers/chances available to get in on our three antique trucks drawing.
Roger has a new truck garage just finished. He said it will remain clean and empty for show day so we can use it for people to set in, eat their lunch and visit with friends .Won't be long now see you there!!

These two young ladies received our annual Scholarship's for Trade School Students this year.
Brenna Noble is graduating from Lee Academy in Lee Maine next month and will be training to become a medical lab technician.
Rhianna Duval will graduate next spring from Mattanawcook Academy in Lincoln Maine. Her scholarship will be used to help pay for expenses, as she travels to attend a Skills conference this summer.
Congratulations to both of these young ladies Please join us in wishing both ,All the Best!!!
