We are placing American flags at veteran gravesides in Fairview and Riverside cemeteries in honor of Memorial Day on Saturday, May 17th starting at 9 am. Volunteers are welcome to join Legionnaire Peter Tracy in Fairview Cemetery to receive guidance and flags to place. You will find Peter at his red Ford F150 pickup truck when you enter from the Farmington Falls Rd side of the cemetery. Hundreds of flags will be placed and help is needed.

Get ready for Friday Night Dinner at the Roderick-Crosby Post 28. Rita and her volunteer squad are serving classic American chop suey that’ll take you straight back to the good ol’ days. No fusion cuisine at the Legion Hall, just good ol’ fashion comfort food. Comes with a crisp salad to keep you lean and mean, some hearty bread to sop up all the flavor, and a dessert so tasty you’ll be back for seconds. Doors open at 5 pm for social hour and dinner begins at 6 pm. Suggested donation is $6.00 per person. So, grab your friends, bring your appetite, share a new story, and leave with a smile. Friday night food delights at the Farmington American Legion Hall. See you there!

Roderick-Crosby Post 28 is holding its monthly membership meeting on Tuesday, April 1st at 7 pm. The Post is preparing for elections next month. A number of Post officer positions are open for the 2025/2026 term.
